Construction and contracting work in Qatar
Alongside sewage and drainage, Al Makki has done construction and contracting work in Qatar since 2003. We build, dig, lay and maintain: from family villas and other buildings to the utility networks, roads and paving around them, and the upkeep of the facilities inside.

What else we do
Building construction
We build residential projects and family villas, and construction and infrastructure works for commercial, industrial and other buildings. The two villas we built in Al Thumama, shown above, are an example of the finish we deliver, outside and in.
Excavation and digging
Excavation is the first step of most builds and network jobs: digging for foundations and basements, trenches for pipes and utility lines, and levelling the site. When groundwater collects in the dig, our dewatering service keeps it dry so the work can carry on.
JCB work
Our JCB work covers digging and trenching, loading and moving soil and material, backfilling and clearing sites. Tell us what the job is and where, and we'll tell you how we can help.
Maintenance
We maintain buildings and compounds and the facilities inside them, as a one-off job or on a schedule. For drains, manholes and tanks, an annual maintenance contract keeps them working through the year.
Utility networks
We lay and build the networks underneath a project: foul sewerage, storm water drainage, irrigation and potable water lines. It is the same water and drainage knowledge that runs through our sewage work.
Network operation and maintenance
Once networks and lifting stations are in, they need running and looking after. We operate and maintain them so they keep working, and our Super Combi clears and empties the lines and chambers when they need it.
Interlock, curbstones and asphalt
We lay interlock paving and install curbstones for roads, paths, compounds and car parks, and carry out asphalt works. Our road sweeper keeps the finished surfaces clear of sand and silt.
Traffic management
Road and network work often means working next to traffic. We plan and run traffic management, so the site, the crew and the road users stay safe while the work goes on.
Cleaning and facilities management
We provide cleaning, housekeeping and facilities management for buildings and compounds, and street and compound cleaning with our road sweeper and our own crews.
